If parts are needed I can provide information for what purchase. If I am asked to provide the parts I will charge the cost plus 10%. This helps cover for my time getting the parts. Of course the great state of Texas demands sales tax as well.
System build-out and testing
If a new machine is needed I can be called upon to advise about pre-built systems. however, I can also build specialty systems if needed. As with replacement parts, I charge my cost plus 10% for the hardware, plus a $100 build-out charge. If you wish to provide the hardware then only the $100 build charge would apply. For a workstation there would be no other charge, but for a server additional time and charges may occur due to the complexity of network systems. This would be something that would be agreed upon in advance.
